My 2009 WoW Year in Review.

Ky over at Casual Hardcore, pegged me for a Meme. Though I’m not huge on Meme’s I’ll do one for him.  Ky….Your my Boy, Blue!

Oh before I get started, Ky had another interesting post saying gamers according to MSNBC  are all old, overweight, and depressed….I’m 37, 6’5″, 350lbs. And I’m not depressed……I let myself down by not hitting the trifecta. I’m going to start taking downers or something.

What did you do in the World of Warcraft in 2009 that you’d never done before?

I transferred to a brand new server from Horde to Alliance. Yeah it was expensive, but it brought some excitement back into the game when I was bored out of my mind. Not saying I didn’t love my Hordies. I just thought I wanted to play a Worgen, and now was the best time to make the change when things we stagnant. I might return one day to Garona Horde, but it will probably be after a payday.
What was your favorite new place that you visited?

I like Dragonblight, there is so much going on in one zone, makes the world come alive. You got dragons battling in mid air, you have undead trying to raise a huge undead dragon, the dragon shrines being battled over, and need I mention Wrathgate.
What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?

Well alot of the things I wanted are coming true, ways to cut down on Addons like Questhelper, able to xfer BOA stuff to different factions, and more love for Frost Spec for raiding. I would probably say my Mount dreams to come true, Baron Rivendares mount, and a gosh darn protodrake would be nice.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I was really pleased with just able to join a new guild, and be able to lend a hand. It was a real honor to have one of the hunters ask me to help along the mages if they have questions. I don’t know everything, but I try my hardest not to be full of fail.
What was your biggest failure?

Not a failure per se, but I feel I let down my Horde brethern by not sticking it out. Maybe I could of made a difference there. Alas it was a PvE server, and I always felt more at home on a PvP server. I think my minor failures would be just my performance once in awhile. Dyeing when I shouldn’t be dyeing, which effects my damage done.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?

I got really excited when my Guild finally killed Anub, in ToC 25. We had a hard time with that, and it was a moment of pure awesomeness.

What do you wish you’d done less of?

Spend Gold, I have to rebuild my gold stocks.

What was your favorite WoW blog or podcast?

Might as well ask me who is my favorite child….if I had children. My blogroll is huge, because I like them all, and read them all. It’s just awesome I am in a guild with alot of bloggers, it’s nice to see different points of view of the same thing…sorta like those porn DVD’s

I don’t really listen to podcasts, I should really start, I heard Gnomey’s got a hot voice.
Tell us a valuable WoW lesson you learned in 2009?

Haste is awesome, but be careful you may starve another stat if you cross the line.  Learning that as an Arcane spec Raider Haste is godlike has really brought my game to a new level.

Ok who am I tagging. The bottle spins around and round, and lands on……Arioch, Krizzly, Euripedes, Jong/Meg, and Keredria

Now you all have to kiss me. LOL!.
