There is Only Zoo

I was talking about the Reynad’s Zoo deck (actually a slightly modified version of his)  yesterday so much, I actually never played it. I mean how awesome could it be?

I just have to say, it’s pretty fucking amazing. I mean I went 14-2 yesterday in ranked play, best I ever did..ever. I feel dirty though…real dirty like a dirty crack whore. Sure it felt good to win, but I was winning on someone else’s hard work. Like I made a deal with the devil, and at the end my soul will be forfeit.

Also it’s not all powerful, sometimes the RNG gods played me falsely. Both times I lost to a warrior, I really never got a good warrior deck going, but things like whirlwind really rip this deck apart. I think it was because I got higher costing cards early, and that set back the tempo.

Though this Zoo is powerful, I think maybe some changes could be made.

I’m really not a fan of those Harvest Golems. I was thinking flipping it out for a Blood Knight, take advantage of those shields if I have Squires out, and a Flesh Eating Ghoul, lot of lowbies could mean alot of deaths that ghoul can get high fast.  Not a huge..huge fan of the Doomguards cause of the discard option, but that charge is huge kick in the butt.

I’d like to build a good warrior deck too, I’m thinking this…or maybe this.

Well a lot of tweaks and such coming up, but still impressed with this deck I had to say something.

Tailor Swift

So I’ve been working on my Tailoring cause I want to make the 553 pants, and belt. I have pretty much all honor gear at 522 minus the pants, and one trinket. A couple things about leveling a profession it is expensive as hell. I think I burned through almost 10k of gold doing it, and I’m pretty broke now. That’s ok I got a lot of time to build back my gold reserves before WoD.

Interesting thing last night I usually do an Onyxia run for the mount, and I got a book that trained me for Northrend Cloth Scavaging. Which I think garners me more cloth drops in Northrend. This might lead me to making some good ole Frostweave bags to up my money. Of course no mount.

I have to farm some Pandarian mobs to get me the celestial cloth recipe tonight, I might down a potion of luck, hopefully that helps.

The future plan with the warlock is just work on accumulating gold, working on some fun transmogs, and getting my Brawlers Guild rank up, plenty to do until Warlords.

Brawling My Balls Off

This weekend even though I’ve been killing rare pvps for easy honor, and some warscouts, which I’m a little pissed off about I haven’t gotten the mount yet, stingy Zandalari bastards.  I’ve been working on my Brawling Guild Rep, and taking down opponents.

These fights are some pretty tough ones, which I’m surprised that they are, my Warlock and Blueberry Lord are doing their best, yes I had a hiccup here and there, if you’re a pure dps class like Rogue, or a tank like a Pally tank that doesn’t do much damage I don’t know how you would survive. I think Hunters, Locks, and DK’s are the only ones good at Brawling.

Anywho I’m at Level 5 now, I got the pet reward. It’s starting to get hard now, and I may need to start looking up strats. I really want the mount, will it kill me if I don’t get it? No…but I want it.

 

One Lonely Beastie I Be

So I didn’t have much time last night so I thought I would try soloing some stuff.

I went to Onyxia…hmmm no mobs…SHIT.. I did her already this week. I hate when I do that.

I decided to try some Wrath stuff, I checked out Wintergrasp. Oh Alliance own it. Up next Vault of Archeron. Let me tell you I thought soloing as a Prot Pally was easy. NOTHING. Warlock was so easy, don’t even I got a scratch in VOA…and I even stood in the fire on purpose a few times. The great thing is got roughly 100 honor for it too, and a decent amount of gold, but no mount.  After I did that I decided to try to do Sarth with 3 drakes up.

Lesson one in doing Sarth…kill all the mobs. When you pull Sarth they come running too. The funny thing is before I died I did get Sarth down to about half.  So after killing all the mobs, I did my second attempt and I killed him so fast the other drakes didn’t have time to come down i don’t think. Well I didn’t see them anyways. For my effort got a nice 22 slot bag, oh and this Reins of the Black Drake which is awesome.

Looking forward to doing more solo stuff, I just love doing that. I’m going to try ICC I think, and definitely want to hit Kara for Attumans horse.

Losing Time on the Timeless Isle

So I’ve been spending my time on Timeless Isle…alot of time. I did a bunch of quests and stuff, and for my effort I got some boots.

To be honest I got some stuff when I did the timeless isle on my paladin, got a robe/gloves/boots/cloak while I was on my pally

So I did a Celestial, actually I did 2. I guess you can only kill one a day. I jumped my ass across the island, hoped on pillars and ropes. I bartered with a monkey in a cave, I got launched in the sky by a statue, and killed a bunch of rares….

What did I get for my effort…

A Cowl for my head….that’s it. Thanks for nothing…but hey at least my boobs look hot in the robe.

 

Warlocks of Honor

So this weekend I went on a massive PvP spree, I garnered a couple of pieces for my set, as well as some Timeless Pieces as well. I got some pvp trinkets/ring/necklace. Here’s the plan to get my weapon this week, hopefully I’ll have it by the end of the week.  After the weapon it will be time to start banking honor, conquest, and justice. I don’t know when the new season starts exactly but I know it’s ending next Tuesday. I’m really enjoying myself in the Warlock role.

A couple things though, still don’t know which demon I should be using figured the Shivarra is best choice for Random BG’s. When and If I start Arenas I should probably use the Observer maybe.  I am sticking to Destro, it’s what I feel the most comfortable playing…most magelike LOL! Aside from gear I think I’m getting better play wise, I got some compliments. I need to learn some macros, and better with my fearing.

Overall though I think next season is gonna be pretty good if I stick to it, but for now I need more honor…I crave it, and your souls!

 

My Faith in Humanity

Typically as a species I hate humans…I really think they are the cockroaches of the mammal world.

I am almost 90 with the Warlock, and I want to say a special thank you to some guys from the guild ROYALTY , Tork and Giullo ran a couple instances with me, which helped alot doing back to back dungeons no waiting 25 minutes for each one. They were both level 90, and I don’t know why they we doing the Gate of the Setting Sun Instance, (Think that’s it’s name). Having them there made for some quick clearing as well. Even though I was a noob. Started out with the Voidlord. I was trying to multitask, until Tork said, “Uhm you can use a dps pet” …OOPS…sorry. They were joking, and having fun with it. It made both runs very fun, and painless. It’s times like this that it restores my faith in the “Looking For” stuff, and perhaps humanity.

So after doing those two runs with them. I logged out cause I didn’t want to ruin the warm fuzzy I was feeling, even though being a pubic hair away from 90. Tonight I finish it! I hope.  If you are on Gnomereggan server, and you see these guys tell them I said thank you for restoring my faith in humanity for just one night.

Let the World Burn!

It’s almost time. I feel it nearing. The time to unleash the dogs of war and head into the land of PvP, and to make those who have doubted me suffer. My Warlock nears 90, and though I have been a staunch mage fanboy. Today I flip the page, and grasp my inner darkness. First I must prepare for the onslaught. 

Spec – I’ll be trying out both Destro, and Affliction. I’ve been playing Destro I think I got the gist of it. It’s very mage like feel, but not many trump cards, like the mage has. The spec I want to play around with is Affliction. I heard when PvPing. Affliction when gear not so good, Destro when your gear gets better. I think I’ll head into some Battlegrounds while I’m 89 to sample some things, some extra honor can’t hurt either. 

Gear – I have some Timeless Isle Pieces, and started gathering some crafted pvp gear, I’m gonna try to finish the guidelines set in this guide here.  But I’m going to start now getting things together. The thing I worry about is weapons, and trinkets. Anyone know a good starting pvp weapon until I can get am honor one? 

PvE – I do want to do some PvE on the Warlock, less pressure then a healer or tank, but I’m not going to go nuts. I just want to look at some content. 

Practice, Practice, Practice – I’ll be doing lots of this PvP, and PvE….

Almost as Cold as my Soul

Well here in Chicagoland it’s colder than a witch’s titty…(no offense to witches).  Luckily my soul is colder, and darker. Got some good World of Warcraft time in, and hit level 84 this weekend and closing in on 85. I don’t know if I’m looking forward to the Pandaria grind or not. I loathe Cataclysm dungeons with a passion, especially that water one in Vash’jr.

I had a pretty unexpected moment this weekend too, as I was running Stonecore for my first time since Cataclysm came out. I killed that dragon Slabhide, a purple popped up, Reins the Vitreous Stone Drake, I thought it only dropped in Heroic. Oh I’m not complaining at all. So it was a nice surprise. Told my buddy Scary about it, and he says he was trying for that drake for some time which was news to me. Heck first time I really heard about this dragon which is surprising since it’s an ugly ass dragon, and I like ugly mounts. I felt bad Scary was trying for this mount, and I got it first run….but he ended up getting it too this weekend.

I think I may do a few runs to try and get the Onyxia mount, it’s the other drake I always wanted…that and the Blue Proto Drake.

Twerking It

So I’m twerking hard, reached 80, and about to hit 81 tonight I hope.

Couple things I’m going to mention.

I HATE THAT BEGINNING WATER ZONE! There is nothing in the World of Warcraft I think I hate more. I even hate that dungeon. It’s designed like poop, and it’s incredibly longer then it should be. I guess getting not some of the brightest players in there as well, does not help one bit.

The sooner I get out of Cataclysm the better, so I’ll be pressing the nose against the grindstone. In good news, I’m maxed out with Alchemy. I went with transmutation master, cause I like gold. Already back to making a positive cash flow.  I think I’ll work on Tailoring next.
